Board Of Commissioners Meeting Monday March 13th, 2011, CACK Meeting Wednesday

It’s that time of the month again. Another Board of Commissioners meeting at the township building is on the schedule for tomorrow night. The meetings will start to get interesting and more productive as we go deeper into the election year. So head down and take a first hand look at how the township is governed.

On Wednesday night CACK will be meeting with some of it’s township supporters as well as a few Tea Party and other citizens group folks from other parts of the state. The meeting will be in the Lehigh Valley area and if you’re interested in attending please send an email to CitizensAgainstKern@gmail.com.

The Transplant vs Native post really did generate some interesting responses to say the least. I was impressed. My own point of view is somewhat objective. I was born and raised in Whitehall and then left for a while to attend college and for career reasons. Now, I’m back. I can sympathize with some of the local folks. Whitehall and the Valley HAVE indeed changed and continue to. And I can sympathize with the transplants too. There’s a big, beautiful world outside of the Lehigh Valley. Coming here is certainly a change of pace and culture. Locals should help the transplants and vice versa.  Let’s work together to make Whitehall and the Valley a great place for our kids.
