Well, I don’t know about the rest of you but I had a great New Years Eve. To be honest, this morning was spent piecing together the puzzle that last night melted into after a few (or more) drinks. I felt like I was in The Hangover until about an hour ago when the puzzle came together.
Happy New Year! 2012 is here and the Board has changed. Kern’s term has been completed and he’s a private citizen once again. Hower and Brinker are in and we will see what direction the Board of Commissioners, and consequently the township, moves in.
With Kyle Kern out of office the focus of CACK will change slightly. We’ll keep an eagle eye on the politics of Whitehall, of course. Along with that, we will be placing more attention on what is going on in Whitehall and the Valley. And, since this is a Presidential election year, CACK will be blogging about the primaries and 2012 election season.
Looking back on 2011, it was one hell of a year for CACK. We had an effect on Whitehall politics. Whether it was positive or negative depends on your vantage point. Our voices were heard, even when the politicians in power wished otherwise. We watched and reported. In 2012 our vigilance will not waiver.
Happy New Year!
